MakeAndUpdate donates 10% of all project revenue to THON — Penn State's student-run dance marathon raising money For The Kids, benefiting the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Health Children's Hospital.
THON is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world — a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon held every February at Penn State, raising millions of dollars a year to fight childhood cancer. Every project MakeAndUpdate takes on puts a slice of its revenue toward that effort. The pledge opened on September 1, 2026 — in the tradition of SubTember from my streaming days — and runs through the end of 2026. It's 10% of revenue, not profit.
